How to Adjust Stencil Layers and Detail

Every layer has one slider that trades detail against how easy the stencil is to cut. Push it for texture and fine shadow, pull it back for bold shapes that survive a craft knife.

Follow these steps

  1. In Check your layers, expand the layer you want to adjust.
  2. Move the Detail slider: lower for bolder shapes, higher for finer edges.
  3. Hold the compare button to see your original photo underneath.
  4. Choose Done to close the layer, then repeat for any other layer that needs adjusting.
